US Coast Guard Race Change of Venue

We are still in discussions with the Coast Guard Academy Athletic Department and the UConn Operations department about potential race venues. After investigating all of the options we are still working out the details. Here are some things we do know:

1. Coast Guard will be extremely busy with other athletic events and spectators will be limited. Security will also be very tight.

2. UConn's Coventry Lake area is not spectator friendly and with the potential for increased numbers of athletes they have asked that spectators not attend. This is a DEP issue and not a UConn issue.

3. Sunday racing for Trinity versus Coast Guard is a possibility if necessary and we will have to make the necessary adjustments.

Status changes will be emailed and posted here and on www.trinityrowing.org first thing in the morning.
